About

Manoj Sharma is a journalist and content strategist with fourteen years of experience spanning the full arc of institutional storytelling — from breaking news in national newsrooms to long-form analysis in the boardrooms of major corporations, and live broadcasting in multi-camera studio environments. That breadth of experience has given him a rare ability to translate complex financial and geopolitical developments into rigorous, readable intelligence for sophisticated audiences.

Over the course of his career, Manoj has conducted more than 250 interviews with founders, chief executives, board members and senior policymakers across Asia, the Middle East and beyond. He brings to those conversations not only journalistic craft but a deep command of the financial and macroeconomic forces his subjects navigate — from sovereign capital deployment and institutional asset allocation to cross-border investment strategy and the long-cycle forces reshaping global capital flows.

His reporting and analysis have appeared in some of India’s most authoritative business publications, including Fortune India, Business Today and Hindustan Times. Across those platforms he has covered the full spectrum of institutional finance: the strategies of sovereign wealth funds and public pension plans, the emerging markets of South and Southeast Asia, the capital corridors connecting the Gulf to the Indo-Pacific, and the policy decisions that determine how long-term capital moves across borders.

Based in Dubai, Manoj writes for publications across the United States, Europe and Asia, bringing an on-the-ground perspective on the Gulf’s evolving role as a global capital centre. At Universal Asset Owners, he contributes reporting and analysis focused on the institutions, individuals and inflection points that define long-term capital allocation in one of the world’s most consequential investment regions.
