Dan Agbo
Contributing Journalist — Africa
Nigeria-based contributing journalist covering African capital — sovereign wealth, mining and critical minerals, and the cross-border flows shaping the continent's role in global allocation.
About
Dan Agbo is a contributing journalist for Universal Asset Owners, covering African capital — the sovereign wealth funds, mining and critical-minerals economies, and cross-border flows that increasingly shape global allocation. Based in Nigeria, he reports across the continent’s principal capital centres — from Lagos and Abuja to Johannesburg, Accra and Nairobi — on how commodity wealth is institutionalised and put to work for the long term.
An investigative journalist and researcher, Dan has worked in news reporting, fact-checking and long-form storytelling, and is a former newspaper editor. His reporting and editorial work spans public affairs, finance, technology, cybersecurity and corporate investigations, and his writing has appeared in outlets including CEOWORLD Magazine, The AI Journal, AI Time Journal and TechBullion.
For Universal Asset Owners he focuses on Africa’s strategic and sovereign funds, the mining sector and the critical minerals behind the energy transition, infrastructure finance, and the deepening capital corridor between the Gulf and Africa — bringing rigorous, on-the-ground reporting to an institutional audience.
